Ondine
Smooth jazz built around warm grooves, melodic guitar and spacious improvisation.
About the record
Eight pieces of smooth jazz
Ondine is Chris Dair’s smooth jazz album: eight instrumental pieces written, performed and recorded by Chris. Warm grooves, melodic guitar and spacious improvisation provide a different introduction to his music from the blues-rock records.
The running order begins with Blues for Dali and Peach and Herb, then moves through In the Moment, Walkin’ the Mornin’, Ondine, Witchman and Le Passage before closing with Starlet. For listeners exploring the instrumental side of the catalogue, The Threading offers a solo-guitar companion, while Strange Island brings jazz fusion together with blues and rock.
