Chris first picked up the guitar after hearing Manitas de Plata. By fourteen, the blues had taken hold. London stages and encounters with Rory Gallagher, Jimmy Page, Ginger Baker, Peter Green, Jeff Beck and Bukka White followed.
That history is present in the playing, but it never confines it. Every recording is still about finding something in the moment.
